The
Seven Principles of Man
By
Annie
Besant
Theosophy Wales NOW! is pleased to present Annie
Besant’s “The Seven Principles of Man”, written in 1909 and long recognized as
an authoritative introduction to the Theosophical model of the visible and
invisible aspects of ourselves.
Yes, we all operate at 7 levels
We’re all familiar with the physical body and to some
people the physical body is the whole self.
It is, however, a bit more complicated than that and
can be a bit of a shock for those who identify too closely with the physical
self.
Our physical body represents only the visible
manifestation of ourselves on the physical plane of nature. There are six other
planes of nature and we are all represented on each one. To put in an
appearance we have a body or principle corresponding to each plane. Anne Besant
now takes you through the seven aspects that we all have.

The Old Severn Bridge at night
If you are travelling to Wales along the M4, you
can cross on the
Old Severn Bridge (opened 1966) by taking the M48,
which will take
you over the bridge and back on to the M4. You can
also cross this
bridge on foot, horse or bike by using the service
roads on
either side. Don’t try this on the new Severn
